This one was actually made for a logo for a product that helps with traction and I didn’t get it. But I think it’s a cool Also I made a signed copy of this one for a little kid who gave me some of her art. This is getting to be longer ago then I would like to believe.
If you had been where a shape like this is natural you would know that it’s a memory I have from the 1970s of surfing on the south side of the Huntington Beach pier.
This was sparked by the thought of seeing some of the places I remember from when I was a kid, or at least a teenager and this is really really augmented by memory and of course the abstract parts of me. Oh well it was a slow day when I drew these and I guess that says it all.
The same topic only later and much colder. The moments that I knew that I may never see this again, back in 1979, this is more how it felt then how it looked. There were waves that night and there weren’t very many guys out.
