This was something MD and I found out on a job, (that was here, some work for SW) and this was by the dumpster. It was a nice day and so I took it. I not want to take it on the bus but she said she would bring it to St. Clair’s supper and, I could take it home from there.
That never happened.
That spring coming up I moved in here and had forgotten about this. It’s a little old 404 kit. My first fishing pole was a 202 kit, Then I got a 404 reel in a trade for a SST car. (9 year old me.)
Later on today when it’s dark I am going to run a bunch of trash out and put this back more or less where we found it.
This is the thing. I truly thought I would go fishing with this about 11 years ago and it sat in that corner forgotten completely until a few minutes ago.
I can’t pretend that my soul isn’t a little shook up.
Had she remembered it I would have used it and probably lost it over time.
